As a serial entrepreneur for 30 years, Dr. Braun has been involved in the financial investment world through multiple venues, including investing in financial markets, angel investing, private equity, and real estate. He sits on the Board of Directors of OptMed and of Gourmet Express, LLC, a frozen food company. He has also served as a consultant for several entertainment and social media companies, as well as advised on the development of Pencils of Promise, a highly visible and successful nonprofit organization. Dr. Braun has over 28 years of clinical experience and advanced training in Prosthodontics. He received his DMD from the University of Pennsylvania in 1978 and subsequently completed a fellowship in Maxillo-Facial Prosthetics in 1982 at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Hospital.
Mr. Klapholz has served as a senior executive at a number of medical products companies over the past 26 years. He has built a strong track record in product and business development as well as finance at companies that include Ovabloc, Applied DNA Systems, and Ortec. Mr. Klapholz has led the development of multiple products that have received FDA approval.
Mr. Sands is Founder, Partner, and Senior Portfolio Manager of Sands Brothers Asset Management, a provider of investment management and advisory services to institutional and high net worth clients around the world. He has over 25 years of investment experience in areas that include investment banking, venture capital, private equity, real estate, money management, sales/brokerage, and merchant banking. Prior to co-founding Sands Brothers Asset Management, he held positions at Rodman & Renshaw, where he played a key role in opening its New York City office, Laidlaw, Adams and Peck, and Shearson American Express. Mr. Sands holds a bachelors degree in Political Science from Union College.
Mr. Sands is Co-Founder, Partner, and Senior Portfolio Manager of Sands Brothers Asset Management. He is also a founder and manager of the Select Access Funds, Chairman of Critical Capital Growth Fund, which is licensed with the Small Business Administration, a manager of a group of venture capital funds, a manager of special purpose partnerships, and he is former Chairman of Olympic Cascade Financial Corporation. Previously, he co-founded the New York City office of Rodman & Renshaw with his brother, Martin, and served at L.F. Rothschild, Oppenheimer & Company, and Laidlaw, Adams and Peck. He holds a bachelor's degree from Hamilton College.
Mr. Stone is one of the original founders and has an extensive legal and financial background.
